Accessibility statement
This statement was last updated on
Domera is committed to providing equal service to everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility of the Domera online service: the service request form, request tracking, contractor pages, sign-in and the personal area.
What an accessible site means
An accessible site lets people with visual, hearing, motor, attention or cognitive disabilities use it as effectively as anyone else, with or without assistive technology.
Accessibility adjustments made
Adjustments follow regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard SI 5568, based on WCAG 2.0, at level AA. The site supports screen readers and keyboard navigation. Among the adjustments:
- An accessibility menu on every page (the button in the corner of the screen): larger and smaller text, high contrast, grayscale for colour blindness, stopping animations and flashing, underlined links and a readable font. The choice is kept in the browser.
- A clearly visible focus outline on every element and full keyboard navigation.
- The operating system "reduce motion" setting is respected; there is no flashing content.
- Every form field has a label, and errors are stated in words, not by colour alone.
- Buttons and touch targets are at least 44 pixels.
- Page language and text direction are set on every page (Hebrew, Russian, English).
- Text colour contrast of at least 4.5:1.
Limitations and third-party content
- Files and images uploaded by users (photos, documents, contractor PDFs) are not under our control and may not be accessible.
- Some internal staff screens are still being checked and fixed; this work continues.
- No exemptions are claimed.
Best supported
The site is tested in current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, and with the NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers.
